Eziely's whitesheeper

Post by eziely on Fri Jun 26, 2009 12:16 pm

It's about time i post my other rides. This time its not about the body work or fancy stuff, it more about raw performances, balls twisting power and enough G forces to make faces go affraid What a Face Shocked affraid

I bought it a couple of months back in mid march for 3 grand. At first I was only interested in the G13B DOHC engine for me to swap over to my PIMP mobile but since all the interior is nice I just postponed the swap. It had 4 owner before me but the previous owner converted the SOHC engine to the DOHC engine giving me no headache to swap another GTi engine.

The plan was to buy a car for daily basis since my old car is way too eye catching for our 'friendly neighbourhood' law enforcer so I choose to buy a GTi instead. After searching for quite sometime the end result was a failure. There's one Gti that was race prep but it's out of my budget and it's not road worthy for daily basis. Other were crap conversion so I just put off my dream of having one fine GTi.

My brother was the one who give me the spark yet again when he spot this white Gti. At first glance it looked like a decent car but i ignore it since i'm after the elusive G13B power pack. The owner was kind enough to let us take it for a spin so off we go to the stage zero.
Brake was kinda spongy but it can be fix. The engine pulls strong till redline, no funny noise whats so ever except for the noisy fuel pump.

So I just give the owner cash and off we go with the new car. Since day one the car was at my brother mad machine friend doing major heart surgery. Check for defects and what not. After 2 months or so my brother gave it back and say be easy on the pedal got mad response.

The only down side is it's very hard to say in the morning, I thought it must be the wiring stuff since it's very messy. This turns out to be the ignition coil and dissy/rotor. Problem solve. Other than that? Sh|t always happens.

Here a few pics of the whitesheeper: enjoi or die!

Back view. I just notice the last owner did a rear lip.

Front view with lips. I thought they came as standards but i'm wrong study

Need to paint the Engine bay and rocker cover to something eye catchy. Pink maybe perfect NOT!

The picture below as some of the MONSTER part that I manage to get my hands on. It cost a fortune and thanks again to my friend Mr Yakuza who track down the parts all over Japan and Australia cheers mate.

Monster Tajima Cultus ECU now this thing is one in a million. Very rare ecu Thanks a bunch Mr Yakuza.

With this MK3 Intake I can fit a 60mm SR20 Throttle body to the one I have 40mm. Plus I can mod it to QTB if i want to go to that route.

BD14's Cam and Adjustable cam pulley.

Hi-comp 74mm used piston.

That's about it at the moment. I'll post some updated sooner or later.

The saga continues... study

The amount of love you put into the car is respectful. Thumbs up from me bro. G13B's are not so easy nowadays to get performance parts but yet its doable by you... hope to follow your progress...

Update:

Just got news from my friends over at japan. He can get me the cultus Half-cut for US1600-1800~ish with shiping.

Holy batman pants I have to save budget now. That's 2500-2800 brunei dollar not including installing. Haiyaa..

Anyway for this car I have a wish list:-

1] Drive shaft boot [30]
2] New Parking lights [30]
3] Make brand new plate number [20-30]
4] Stereo
5] Engine bay repainted
6] Caliper Repainted

Here an example:-

Nice and simple clean look.

Here a quick look at my busted drive shaft boot:

Have to get down dirty with degreaser.
Caution degreaser will peal your paint job so be careful not to spray it near the body/ rims etc.

Cheers
The saga continues... study

that is one freaking clean engine bay,but one thing bout white engine bay is that it can be really a pain in the ass cleaning the bottom part some where around the fire wall due to rain, etc mesti panat lah tu untuk maintain the clean look, unless you go to wong workshop n do a custom metal plate cover on the bottom of the engine, or ... Have u seen nomura ken skyline R34 engine bay?
Body paint is white, engine bay is sometin metallic green or blueish colour,it does look awesome.

This whitesheeper is gonna be insane! Pengsan..
