Atu cuai kau ah, lesen plet di edit. Gambar sasahan belum bebangkit nda di edit. This is the world wide web for goodness sake hahahaha...

So whats the max rpm

Ans: At the moment its all stock valve train on a civic type R camshaft in/ex. So max rpm would be on stock but i shift every 8000rpm every time i push the car.

how many hp

Ans: I have no idea coz i haven't done any baseline dyno for it. Maybe before i will get the dyno done before i start putting stuff inside... February? Maybe HP is anywhere between 120-140? Slow bahh.... nothing so great.

pigy back that u have tried, EMS, Ultimate any more

Ans: When i bought the car, it was already tuned by Rigoli on an EMS australia. But the part throttle map beyond 3000rpm was not tuned. So thats where i start to learn how to tune a standalone on the highway at sg.akar to muara. Awal pagi lah ku melasing lasing. I have a funny story on this one but nanti2 tah ku ceta hahaha...

Gambar atas da blue strut and red engine cover so which one latest engine pics? hehe

Ans: The latest pic would be with the silver colored rocker cover. I still have the Red type R rocker cover and the cusco strut bar. It was for sale a while back but i figured I'd keep it and plan on installing it after it got painted.

Tips on making power from an NA engine

Ans: Tips on making power. I guess there are numerous guidelines on the internet on how to make power. But after all these years of reading and doing. Basically it all boils down to the following by importance:

1- Research.
2- Realistic target base on application.
3- Good tuner.

From what i have compiled all these years ah, its easy to get power when you are stock and tune the bolt on parts. Once you get to internals, it'll get a little bit hard. What i advice is, when you purchase an exhaust system when going N/A, go for the best header and exhaust system which could flow your target HP. Thats where Research comes in because you don't want to purchase an exhaust system which includes the header (exhaust manifold) to hinder your future upgrades. Its just a waste of money.. The exhaust system is the biggest power adder for N/A. Once all the bolt on parts are done, you will have to go internals to actually get more power i.e. to improve flow. This gets alittle bit more challenging as every part contributes to making power or losing power.

Anyway, there's just too much to discuss on how to properly make power and a good debate or discussion will be more beneficial for your future project lah. Remember, every parts that you put will complement each other in terms of making power if not hindering them. At the end of the day, its the tuners job to make your goals come true....

Since this will be my thread, i'll probably just fill it up lah. Here you go a few more pics. These were collected during my B20 build up but didn't get to install it and i did sell a few parts already that i collected.

Sori bro ku edit dh tu hehe ku copy dari post mu yng lama iath haha nada g sasahan p ehm.... Razz

where do u get all this stuff, online??
U paln on doing the internals yourself?

When talking about bolt ons on an NA, all i can think of are Air filter, header, mid pipe and muffler, intake manifold i was told its for racing use only so what else are there?

Since its light tune NA, fuel pump, injectors, fuel rail do we need them, and is it possible to install a fuel regulator to a car that dont have return fuel line??

Now the car looks better hehehe, though it looks like a herbie, driving without the driver and the hood is wide open wahahha... but thanks.. didn't know you could do those kinda things, i'm not so good with photoshops.

Where did i get the stuff?
All the new stuffs i got online but the spoon flywheel and injectors i got off a friend. He's lurking in the blazing R forum but still don't know who i am hahaha.

Internals built myself?
Yes, i build the engine myself but maybe installing it in, i'll just pay the workshop to do it. When it comes internally, i question a lot of shops on how they build it, I haven't tried looking at how SHH does it though. But no one's touching my engine internals coz i spec'd them out carefully. Maybe I would let a workshop do my valve job, ask them to polish the combustion chamber and then do a valve job.. heck it won't be 100% but its better than me doing it. My block is actually finished, i spec'd them with my ACL bearings and they were within the tolerance but one of the bearing is a little tight but nothing that worrying. Though i am planning on purchasing a whole new set of color coded OEM bearing in KL. But we'll see...

When talking about bolt ons on an NA, all i can think of are Air filter, header, mid pipe and muffler, intake manifold i was told its for racing use only so what else are there?

Bigger TB, Flywheel, Clutch set, Lightened pulleys, Piggybacks or Standalone ECU's, Injectors, fuel pumps and some more than maybe others can think of.

Since its light tune NA, fuel pump, injectors, fuel rail do we need them, and is it possible to install a fuel regulator to a car that dont have return fuel line??

Light tuned N/A, your stock fuel pump would be enough. No need to be big. I bought my walbro 255lph for a reason i.e. i knew i was gonna need it oneday which i do hehe. To be honest, i've never worked on a returnless fuel system so i don't know much. BUT saying so, it is possible to build a return system after sending the fuel rail to the machine shop and lay out a 1/4" tube run to the fuel tank. I think theres a kit for a returnless sytem. Correct me if i'm wrong, the for a returnless fuel system, the pressure or flow is controlled by the ECU, so i have no idea how it could control a 255LPH at the moment...

Alum lagi sifu yo... budak baru belajar masih nie and hope to retire soon jua. Kalau boleh this year aku kan siapkan everything and retire wawawa. Ngaleh bah this game. Regarding the TB, I'm still unsure regarding how to size the TB according to the horsepower. So far during my research, people are still doing trial and error. We won't be having problems with bigger TB's on a turbocharge engine as the air is forced induced, we N/A guys have to consider flow velocity, increasing the size of the TB would indeed increase the flow capacity but flow velocity would decrease when sizing it too big. Headache yang banar nya N/A ani but the knowledge you gain is amazing... But aku kan turbocharge the damn engine lah. Sanang sikit hidup ku.

Bah karang ku tanya ia arah the injector thread yand di create nya atu. Thanks for telling me vios is running a returnless system. Coz i didn't know jua much about that. Maybe i could ask some questions there.

I've watched this video before. He actually has a couple of youtube video's of him transplanting into that EG. Top Secret civic kah pakah di panggil nya. Damn quick till it ended up running against a WRX.... Car was properly setup for the track. In fact he was there only to watch the touge run but Tsuchiya ended up using that civic in replacement for the broken down evo that had a bad headgasket.

Hasport creates one of the best mounts for conversion and the quality of the finish is excellent. They use Polyurethane inserts for added strength and give a full year warranty if i remember correctly. But that would be beneficial if we were near a distributor. Plus, they make mostly for LHD... which i'm not sure if its the same as RHD cars... Unless they have a local distributor who ensures that it caters for JDM cars, i would get them. If not, the PU inserts would do...

I'm gonna miss my EG3.... Hope to see you soon. I miss you Sad

Sent it for a paint job. Decided to go for Burgundy using ICI paint. Paint cost BND$1500, which includes, labour charge, Paint, Full undercarriage coating with new paint, Rust removal and some charges for things i want to replace plus 1 full year warranty. Expensive, yeah i guess but we'll see how things are in the next month.. Hope to take some pictures..
